Some fun and interesting field trips.

We have gone on a few field trips in the past few months. One of the most memorable was our trip the the Utah State Capitol. We toured the building and the pictures I have here (from my cell phone) don't give it justice. These pictures are of the Supreme Court. The Justices no longer use this room except for photo shoots. Alicia, Ashton and Autumn are part of a local Generation Joshua civics group. They helped with the day at the Capitol by introducing Senators, Representative and the interns to our group. They also informed us on the proper behavior and procedures of the Capitol.

Another fun field trip we took with two other homeschooling families was a wagon ride out to some wild elk. They were beautiful animals. The kids really enjoyed this. The family that owned the wagons has horses from Austria. I have forgotten the breed but they were amazing horses. They also had a lot of Golden Retreivers running around. Nothing spells fun like horses, Dogs, Kittens, and Elk.....

  1. It looks like it was a blast and I bet Aubry and Jada loved the horses. Saturdaw was a lot of fun we should make it a monthly event.
